Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. What Confessify Is

Confessify lets you build and share interactive letters (themes, steps, messages) with people you choose. You do not need an account to create or view a letter.

2. Data We Collect

We aim to collect as little as possible:

  • Letter content — What you write (theme, steps, final message) is encoded in the share link or stored when you use our short-link feature. Anyone with the link can view that letter.
  • Usage — We may use analytics (e.g. visit counts, errors) to improve the service. We do not sell your data.

3. Where Data Lives

Letter data is either only in the link (client-side) or, when shortened, in the infrastructure that powers the short-link redirects. We use standard hosting and CDN providers to run the app.

4. Sharing & Your Choices

You control who gets the link. Anyone with the link can open the letter. Do not share the link with people you do not trust. We do not access or read the content of your letters for advertising or other purposes.

5. Cookies & Storage

We may use minimal cookies or local storage for preferences (e.g. theme) or to make the app work (e.g. saving your draft while you create a letter). We do not use them for cross-site tracking or ads.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Confessify after changes means you accept the updated policy.

7. Contact

For privacy-related questions, you can reach out via the contact details provided on the Confessify homepage (e.g. Instagram link in the footer).
